It is located on the SE part of the area and it is the settlement of immigrants from the Asia Minor that settled there after the Asia Minor Catastrophe. It is built up on a hill next to the eastern shore of the river Havria, 5 km away from Ormylia. It owes it's name on the fact that the settlement of the immigrants took place on land that was property of the Holy Abbey of Vatopedi from Mt Athos. Until 1971 the settlement was a municipality by itself. Today it has 300 citizens.
