Remezzo Villas

Remezzo already counts more than 35 years of presence on the island. The recent restoration works were realized in respect to the original local architecture while contemporary lines blend explicitly with tradition. Both are combined modestly in the adaptation of a late 1800’s winery and giving intimate attention to detail.

The vinification and distillation spaces as well as the wine cellars of the original structure were refurbished in 1980 to create this characteristic to the island establishment.

Vaulted internal spaces, curved edges and glass-brick skylights are some of the studios and suites predominant features that create a unique ambiance of serenity and comfort. The sunwashed verandas, private terraces and balconies are exquisite moments of peace and tranquility while sunbathing after a dive in the swimming pool or enjoying the stunning panoramic view of the island’s wild coastlines.

The hotels sun-kissed studios and suites come in various sizes and guises. The traditional architecture is distinctive to Santorini - vaulted ceilings, curved contours, and smooth, pressed plaster walls. Naturally airy and cool, these peaceful cocoons are a canvas for contemporary interiors that complement the landscape. “At Remezzo, we don’t like boring breakfast buffets. Instead, we offer a three-course breakfast that changes daily.” With the seal of the Greek Breakfast certification, the menu features local products and traditional recipes, like home-made pies, Santorinian sfougato, and Greek-style pancakes with anthotiro cheese, honey and walnuts. The chef will surprise you every morning with an array of sweet and savoury dishes. From brunch classics like eggs Florentine and French toast, to house specials such as Greek yoghurt, lemon curd, and granola, the breakfast is generous out-of-the-ordinary and made with love. Just like everything else at Remezzo.

Poolside snacks, sunset aperitivos, or a late lunch after a morning of sightseeing. The all-day menu at Remezzo is designed for those moments when all you want is a little something to ease you through the day or usher in the evening.

“Casual comfort food is what we do best. Just arrived after a long journey? We’ll whip you up a bowl of grandma’s Greek-style spaghetti Bolognese.” Open sandwiches, wholesome salads, and summery pasta dishes can be served on the terrace, to your sunbed, or in the privacy of your room. For those lazy afternoons by the pool, try the signature zucchini and cucumber salad with mint, raisins, and local cheese. Or share a selection of sandwiches with pulled chicken and aioli, line-caught tuna with cherry tomatoes, or good old grilled cheese.
