"Hibiscus" took its name from the typical tropical flower. It is also known as "Chinese rose". It loves sunny places. It can reach 4 meters in height and it is grown for its large, beautiful, trumpet-shaped flowers figuring in a variety of colors. Next to the Lobby and the hotel terrace with a panoramic view of the swimming pool, it's running the central bar 'Hibiscus', where it host's theme nights and cocktail parties. Apelles was one of the most eminent Greek painters of the antiquity who gained fame during the early Hellenistic Period. He worked as a painter close to King Phillip II and Alexander the Great and painted many of their portraits. According to Pliny the Elder, Alexander the Great appreciated Apelles' artistic ability to the extent that the later became the only painter allowed to paint Alexander’s portraits.
