The region of Kalavrita is rich in historical attractions, sights of religious significance and beautiful landscapes. The Canyon of Vouraikos, a member of the Global Geoparks Network, which has been established under the auspices of UNESCO, is a world geological heritage site. You can experience the natural wealth of this geological site by hopping on the Kalavrita Cog Railway (Odontotos) for a magical tour through the canyon. The Cave of the Lakes is yet another splendid work of nature only a short distance from the town of Kalavrita.
