Four Seasons Hydra combines beach and mountain, cosmopolitan flair, and seclusion. It offers a one-of-a-kind accommodation experience you have to live with all your senses.

The heart of the Four Seasons Hydra is the centuries-old stone mansion that stands out from the scenic natural surroundings. Standing between the mountain and the sea, it provides magnificent panoramic views of the known Plakes beach right in front of the hotel, with its calm, crystal-clear water.

On an island full of character, Four Seasons Hydra lies on a marvelous, secluded beach, yet at the same time, it is very close to the port of Hydra – where guests can get for free with a hotel’s boat. The hotel was fully renovated in 2008 and offers a unique accommodation option for visitors who desire a vacation like no other.

Double Room with Terrace

Walking through the wonderful garden, you will find Sun. It is a lovely, isolated room of 20 sq. m., a peaceful and relaxing retreat for two guests. Its two verandas offer a wonderful view both to the mountain and the sea and they are ideal to sunbathe, to have your breakfast, or to enjoy unique nights of absolute peacefulness. Its interior is bright, painted in pastel colors and it is composed of a hallway, a fully equipped bathroom, and a double-bedded room. Sun offers all the modern comforts: fireplace, satellite TFT TV, telephone, Wi-Fi Internet, mini-bar, air-conditioning, and more.

Double Room with Sea View

Winter: It is located on the 1st floor of our guesthouse and occupies 30 sq.m. The beautifully decorated furniture in shades of brown walnut wood and the exquisite fabrics create a welcoming atmosphere. You can have your breakfast on the balcony enjoying the light and the sea breeze overlooking the Aegean Sea and especially the amazing sunset. It can accommodate up to two guests.

Thalassa: Features a bedroom with 1 double bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a veranda overlooking the Aegean Sea and the sunset. Thalassa can accommodate up to 2 people. Approximately 24 m².

Suite Split Level

The "Moon Suite" is the surprise of "Four Seasons Hydra". In an old but renovated construction, next to the main guesthouse, we have built two creative spaces. You can bring along your canvas, brushes and easels, computers, or just your passion for waking up early in the morning to walk barefoot on the island's soil to experience Nature herself, by touching Earth. The suite has a comfortable bedroom and a loft, and it can host 3 or 4 people in 32sqm. It offers a fully equipped bathroom, a refrigerator, satellite TFT TV, Wi-Fi Internet, and other amenities.

Suite with Sea View

Summer Suite: Located on the first floor of our guesthouse, this 43sqm suite is where the yellow colors of the summer sun dominate. It has a master bedroom with a view of the sea, a fully equipped living room with two sofa beds for your children or a guest, and a fully equipped bathroom. Before you stroll down to the beach, you can enjoy a gourmet breakfast on the balcony, taking in the sea view.

Spring Suite:Wherever you stay in the "Four Seasons Hydra" you will enjoy a full panoramic view of the area, however from the second floor the view is all the more enchanting.

You can sit at 3:00 am, after visiting the bars of Hydra, to enjoy the starry night sky. From among the colorful spring scenes, we have chosen only the pink flowers to design this exceptional suite which can sleep up to 4 people in 34m2.

Autumn Suite: Just like in the "Spring" suite, you can enjoy a 3600 view here as well. You will be surrounded by the sea, the trees, rocks, and mountains and by the sun setting and rising. Enjoy your stay in a comfortable suite, in the colors of the fallen autumn leaves. Apart from an ample bedroom and a spacious living room, in the 35,5m2 of the suite, you have the option to put a friend up. What will most impress you, however, is a one-of-a-kind balcony from where you can enjoy the sunset.

Sea Front Villa

Food and Drink

Operating as the Four Seasons Hydra restaurant since 2005, Tassia’s Tavern offers an authentic gastronomic experience you shouldn’t miss, while in Hydra.

The location of the restaurant could not be better: Among the pine trees, in the shade of a local-style pergola, and on an elevated spot next to the beautiful beach. Tassia’s taverna for many years offers the house guests great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant is also open to – and very popular with – the public.

The basis of the menu and its authentic phenomenal Greek Cuisine dishes is the talent and the recipes of Anastasia “Tassia” Rampias, one of the last great cooking maidens of the island.

The talented team in the kitchen also creates delicious pasta dishes, fresh salads and appetizers, quality meat dishes, and much more. The experienced servers can suggest the freshest catch, fished locally in Hydra, and a great Greek wine to accompany it.

Boat

Sail into the sunset with “Apiliotis”, the 2-cabin wooden boat of Four Seasons Hydra. The boat can accommodate 8 people on deck and 4 people in its cabins.

Apiliotis was built following the standards of the rich maritime tradition of Hydra. The boat makes it easy for guests, and anyone else who is an adventurer or a romantic in heart, to explore the magnificent beaches in and around Hydra, creating unique travel experiences.
