Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort

Just an hour from Thessaloniki’s International Airport (SKG), the seaside Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort has an innovative architectural design. Using the natural thermal springs as a focal point, the resort’s concentric semi-circle design resembles an amphitheater. Its five-star facilities and world-class spa harmonize perfectly with the pine forests of Halkidiki, with the super yacht Marina Miraggio right next door.

The morning sunrise dramatically backlights the hills of the Sithonia peninsula, with the rise of Mt. Athos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the far distance. The rising sun then reflects off the pristine waters of the Toroneos Gulf, an arm of the northern Aegean.

Rooms

Miraggio’s 300 rooms and suites are large, comfortable, decorated in elegant good taste, and offer fantastic views of the sea (236 out of the 300 rooms) and/or the beautifully landscaped gardens. Balconies and terraces are furnished and allow unobstructed site lines to the sea and gardens. Amenities include a 42” satellite TV, free wifi, coffee maker, round-the-clock room service, make-up mirror, safety, and more.

Garden View Rooms

These rooms are the most economical and offer all amenities plus a view of the beautifully maintained gardens which provide a touch of greenery and the calming order of top-tier landscaping.

Deluxe Rooms

Slightly larger than the Garden View rooms, the deluxe rooms are suitable for up to four guests, and give you four choices with respect to the view outside your balcony: the sea, the sea and the gardens, the sea and the pool area, or a side view of the sea.

Family Garden View Room

The largest rooms available and suitable for up to four guests. These ground-floor rooms offer plenty of space with beautiful view of the gardens.

Miraggio Club

While the Miraggio Club is built on the same property as the Mirragio Hotel, it offers a higher-end experience with exclusive features. Foremost of these is its privacy. Most of its 48 rooms designed by famed architect Apasia Taka come with private pools, private terraces, and sun beds.

Twenty-nine Club Sea View rooms overlook the marina, and all of the rooms come with fantastic, panoramic views of the sea. Beds are furnished with Coco-Mat natural mattresses designed to conform to the contours of your body. Bathrooms come with Abahna luxury bathing products. A private beach area with sun beds and umbrellas is part of the package.

Miraggio Club amenities include complimentary airport shuttles (5-day stay), and VIP service.

Club Sea View Room

Located on the hotel’s west side. A comfortable and luxurious room with stunning sea views across the Aegean and the small island of Kelyfos.

Club Sea View Private Pool Room

Lots or room, lots of privacy, lots of romance. Great for honeymooners or couples looking to re-ignite that spark of romance. Comes with a private terrace and pool and panoramic views of the sea.

Miraggio Suites Sea View Private Pool

Airy and roomy suites with two separate bedrooms and living room, 2 bathrooms, and extra amenities. The terrace with a private pool overlooks directly the majestic Aegean Sea.

Duplex Suite Private Pool

This is the largest suite at the Miraggio Club. The suite has two levels, a private balcony and terrace, a private pool, unobstructed sea and marina views, and a dual-level lounge. It provides the ultimate in luxury and privacy.

Food and Drink

A team of ten chefs, led by acclaimed Greek-American head chef Giorgos Papadopoulos who has 30 years in the business, are hard at work every day at the resort's eight restaurants using farm-fresh local ingredients, including herbs and vegetables from the resort’s very own walled garden.

Kritamo (sea fennel) Restaurant is a buffet-style restaurant focusing on healthy dining. Many of its creations are locally sourced with a rotating menu offering something different every day. The Kritamo Healthy Corner is the quintessence of well-balanced healthful dining options including organic fruits eaten whole or whipped up into smoothies and squeezed into juices, bioproducts as well as gluten-free options, and famous Halkidiki honey collected by a local beekeeper.

Portofino Restaurant offers Italian cuisine with Mediterranean flavors by an Italian chef. Taste the authentic Italian pizza in a wood oven, handmade pasta, traditional Italian sweets, and handmade ice creams (gelato) and sorbet.

Toroneo Seafood Restaurant offers al fresco seaside dining and the finest in locally-caught fresh seafood prepared using traditional Greek recipes.

Sommelier’s 8 Meat & Wine Bar creates inspirational pairings of the finest roasted and grilled meats and garnishes with the perfect selection of compatible international wines.

Oasis Pool Restaurant offers wide freshly-cooked meals for you to enjoy at the poolside among the pleasant sounds of kids and adults at play in the water.

Elia Restaurant has added a breakfast menu in a sea view setting. The menu uses locally-sourced products, herbs, and spices. Chef George Papadopoulos has crafted a menu featuring fresh fruits and juices, puff pastries, and traditional Greek breakfast items.

Kids’ Planet Restaurant specializes in buffalo milk ice cream made on-site, dairy-free ice cream, and a wide selection of cow’s milk Gelato flavors, as well as pancakes, crepes, and milkshakes.

Sushi Bar will satisfy the palate of the most discriminating sushi aficionado with its wide-ranging menu prepared by its master Sushi chef.

Bars

Oasis Pool Bar puts you poolside where something is always going on, and overlooks the scenic Marina. Cocktails and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are on offer, as well as tastefully prepared snacks, ice creams, and salads.

Oasis Beach Bar is right on the sand and lets you enjoy the view of the beach and sea as you imbibe in various cocktails and delightful mixed drinks. You can also enjoy sandwiches, fruit, and ice cream.

Mirage Lobby Bar is an indoor-outdoor venue with an inventive ceiling design and centerpiece that are odes to the best modern art. Enjoy the view from the terrace of the Toroneos Gulf and Kelyfos islet as you enjoy a variety of cocktails, teas, or coffees. It’s an excellent place for work or pleasure.

Health Bar at Myrthia Thermal Spa features fruit smoothies, cocktail juices, soothing music, the tiled concrete curves of the thermal spa, and a wall of glass that opens up to vistas of the sea, mountains, and forest.

Spa and Wellness

The best feature of the Miraggio Resort is the thermal spring it is built over. The Kanistro spring was formed when water seeping through faults and cracks in the earth’s crust met the rock heated from subsurface magma at a depth of 270m, returning the heated, mineral-rich water to the earth’s surface. Water temperatures range from 30-32º (about 88º F).

Myrthia Thermal Spa

The spa has a thalassotherapy (sea therapy) pool connected to the Aegean and is heated and maintained at a stable temperature. A smaller thalassotherapy pool is also an infinity pool with in-water hydromassage loungers.Unique treatments, personalized consultation, and inspired traditional methods, all make full use of the thermal spring waters which relax, heal and rejuvenate you, uplifting your spirit and your body.

Fun for Kids

There are tons of activities on offer for kids of all ages at the Miraggio. Costumed animated heroes greet the young ones and every day has a different theme including pirates, Indians, the gods of Olympus, and master class cooking lessons. Sports include animal yoga, darts, mini-golf, mini-basketball, a football academy, water games, ring-toss, mini-bowling, and a pint-sized version of the Olympics. There is also a tennis academy and, for teens, archery lessons.

Kids’ Planet

Kids’ Planet rounds out a perfect family luxury vacation experience for little ones only four months old on up to and including teenagers. There are so many unforgettable activities available that it’s impossible to cover everything in one vacation: activities cover the gamut from the artistic to the adventurous, from the intellectual to the dynamic and much more.

The Kids’ Planet park is six acres of pure fun, including the Splash Park. Miraggio Marina

Winner of the Golden Greek Hospitality Award, the Marina has 81 berths for yachts up to 40m and 24-hour security. The Miraggio Marina was designed for the minimum impact on the sea flora and fauna and maximum water circulation to inhibit the growth of bacteria in its waters. Both short and long-term berths are available.
