Rooms
There are a total of 382 rooms in the Plaza Cypria Maris of varying categories available. Rooms range in size from 22m2 (235 ft2) to 25m2 (about 270 ft2), with larger sizes for suites.
Rooms are spacious, well-appointed, with every imaginable modern amenity. Room décor is modern and stylish combined with rustic elements such as faux limestone wallpapered walls. Color scheme features muted off-whites and earth tones, set off with powder blue or aquamarine highlights on desk furnishings and pillows. Windows stretch from floor to ceiling letting the light of Cyprus flood your getaway and give you some of the most exquisite sea views, and meticulously manicured gardens you’ve ever seen.

Double/Twin Rooms, Superior Sea View
These basic rooms come in four categories: Inland View, Side Sea View, Sea View, and Superior Sea View. Rooms have private balconies which look out, depending on the view, to the beautiful dun mountains of Cyprus, a combination of the sea and mountains, or a wide-open vista of the azure waters of the Mediterranean.
Swim Up Superior Room
Rooms have direct and exclusive access to the shared overflow pool. Rooms face the beautiful, aromatic gardens and have private terraces. Bathrooms have walk-in showers.
Suites
Suites come in three categories: Suite Inland View, Honeymoon Suite (2 guests), Garden Suite with Private Pool.
Suite Inland View
This suite has a two-room, side by side configuration which allows a great deal more light in, seeing as both the bedroom and the living area/2nd bedroom have floor to ceiling windows affording a pleasant inland view. Living area has a sofa bed to accommodate 2 additional guests.
Honeymoon Suite
This one-bedroom suite on an upper floor of the main building has an inspirational, panoramic corner view over the hotel grounds and the sea. It’s a wonderful choice for newly married couples, or for those seeking a romantic getaway. There are two bathrooms; one larger than usual with a separate walk-in shower in addition to a tub, and one guest toilet in the living room.
Garden Suite With Private Pool
The Garden Suite features a spacious, furnished veranda, a beautifully designed small overflow swimming pool, and a privacy hedge around the garden. Separate living and bedroom ensure privacy if more than 2 guests are staying. Living room is situated on the corner of the building, with a window in one wall for extra light, as well as floor to ceiling sliders in the other wall. Suite has its own gated entrance.
Premium Rooms & Suites
Premium Rooms and Suites come in seven categories, all on the resort’s 5th floor.
Premium Rooms. These are upgraded standard rooms and come in three sub-categories: Inland View, which has a veranda with seating area and overlooks the Old World charm of Paphos. Side Sea View, and Sea View overlook the dazzling waters of the Med.
Premium Suites
The Premium Junior Suite Sea View has lots of room, a walk-in shower, and lots of closet space. There is a separate sitting area and a desk alcove divided from the rest of the suite by a screen, and a sofa bed and small table. There are upholstered arm chairs, and a furnished balcony providing excellent sunset views and a panorama of the seafront promenade and its pedestrian traffic for people watchers.
The Premium Suite Inland View, and Premium Suite Side Sea View are both on the 5th, just on different sides of the building. They have the same layout: two rooms separate bedroom, with a furnished balcony. The spacious living area has a visiting area with upholstered furniture, and a bar with stools. There is table and luggage bench, both made of natural wood. The suites have a lot of wardrobe space. Sitting room sofas convert to beds for a potential total of 4 guests.
The only difference is that the Inland View overlooks the park-like grounds of the resort, the varied architecture of Paphos, and the hills and mountains in the distance which change hue by the hour as the sun makes its transit. On the other hand, the Side Sea view gives you both the view of that part of the island and that of the sparkling blue Mediterranean.
Both suites are 43 m2 and sleep up to 4 guests.
Deluxe Rooms & Suites
The resort’s Deluxe Rooms and Suites, giving each unit unobstructed, panoramic views of the grounds and surrounding area, whether it be the sea, or the land. They come in a total of three styles with six sub-categories, are offered on Ultra All Inclusive with an exclusive access to the Business lounge with premium drinks and all day snacks. All rooms and suites are on the 6th (top) floor:
- Deluxe Rooms: Inland View (mountains and town view), Side Sea View (both land and sea view), Sea View (panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean). Rooms have either a double bed, or twin beds. They come with a closet, coffee and tea maker, espresso maker, free mini bar, HD flat screen TV and phone.
- Deluxe Junior Suite Sea. This commodious suite has a bathroom with a walk-in shower, plenty of closet space, mini fridge, coffee maker, a large bedroom and smaller sitting area. The desk alcove is set apart by a perforated screen and has a sofa bed and table. There is a wall-mounted TV and vanity mirror, and upholstered easy chairs oriented to the balcony and sea view, affording spectacular sunset views and a panorama of the seaside promenade and its foot traffic.
- Deluxe Suite Inland View. This is a two-room suite with separate bathroom, bar area with stools, and a wooden table and luggage bench. The full-size bathroom includes a walk-in shower. Sitting area sofas open up to beds for an additional two guests. The suite offers unforgettable view of Cyprus’s hills, mountains, and the Paphos area.
- Deluxe Suite Side Sea View. Luxury accommodation on the 6th floor affords a brilliant view of the grounds and sea. The bedroom has an interesting trapezoidal configuration due to the shape of the building. Suite comes with a sitting area which can sleep two extra guests, a bar stool-furnished bar, and a second balcony. The views give guests a breathtaking, wide lens view of the sea and grounds.
Presidential Suites
The Presidential Suites are the very best the Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris has to offer. These 6th floor suites come in two categories:
The Presidential Suite has plenty of space and two separate rooms. It has splendid views of the grounds, pool, and the brilliant waters of the Mediterranean. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower. There’s also an extra toilet for guests. Sleeps 4.
The Deluxe Presidential Suite with Panoramic Sea View is large and comfy, with a large bedroom, a sitting area with a sofa bed and table separated by perforated screens, plush chairs looking out from the balcony over the sea, where you can enjoy the sparkling waters and the foot traffic on the seafront promenade. This suite sleeps up to 6.

Blue Horizon Restaurant

Open for breakfast and dinner, the Blue Horizon has a sumptuous salad buffet and live cooking counter. The all-you-can eat buffet features a wide range of mouth-watering dessert offerings. Hawas Gardens Restaurant

Mourayio Greek Taverna
The umbrella-shaded patio of this restaurant and the general feel of the place is a throwback to a traditional Greek tavern. Erato Club Bar
There’s lots of floor space for dancing in this bar with its nightly live musical offerings. If you need to cool off a bit and want a break from the music and babble of voices, move on out to the deck terrace and relax among the tropical plants while you sip your drink, converse, and feel the night breeze on your cheek. Either way, the Erato is the place to be in the evening.
Spa and Wellness
The KG Wellness Boutique Spa and Salon is the only place in Cyprus where feet and full body ichthyotherapy treatments are available courtesy of the famous Garra Rufa Fish Spa.
In addition, there is a full range of massage therapies, body treatments, and baths available to guests. In the Area
Paphos is a UNESCO World Heritage site, one of about 900 such sites in the world. The criteria for such sites are those having “cultural, historical, scientific or other form of significance.” Some of those having such significance in Paphos include Old Paphos, now called Kouklia, on a hill east of the modern city, the traditional birthplace of Aphrodite, goddess of love. Remains of the ancient city and its sanctuary can be viewed. The Paphos Archeological Park includes the ruins of four large Roman-era villas with well-preserved mosaic floors.
The Paphos pedestrian boulevard on the seafront is famous for its beauty and makes for a pleasant walk in the cool of a summer evening. Paphos Segway Tours take you to all the famous sites in the city and environs, which has been likened to an open-air museum.
The Paphos Castle is a must see, as well as St. Paul’s Pillar, where Church tradition holds that the Apostle Paul was flogged 39 times by the Roman Proconsul of Cyprus, Sergius Paulus, after which he himself converted to Christianity after Elymas the sorcerer was struck blind after trying to discourage Sergius Paulus from the faith.
Paphos is full of restaurants and night spots for those desiring a little nightlife. There are all kinds of tours, both on land and sea , available for sightseers wishing to have a broader view of the environs of this historical city.
