Amada Colossos Resort

Rooms

Rooms are constructed with natural earth-tone materials such as stained wood and marble, and feature modern amenities, comfortable beds with top-shelf orthopedic mattresses, bathrooms with showers or bathtubs (or both), and terraces and balconies with stunning views of the sea or surrounding hills which only improve the higher you go.

The three all-inclusive concepts come with several categories of rooms.

Gold Ultra All-Inclusive

Gold Package guests can choose from the basic Double and Triple Rooms, or the more spacious Family Rooms.

Double/Twin and Triple Rooms

Basic rooms with elegant interior and all must-have amenities. The best choice for a comfortable stay for budget-minded guests. Views offered are: Hill View, Side Sea View, and Sea View.

Hill View looks off to the northwest, and gives a nice panorama of the hundred-meter rise of land about 1.5 km northwest of the resort. Side Sea View gives guests the best of both worlds: a vista of the coast, and of the beach and sea. Sea View means you get a beautiful panorama of the beautiful wine-dark Mediterranean. Both Side Sea View and Sea view offers guests wonderful sunset views.

Family Rooms with Sea or Hill View

Its four bed, two bedroom configuration is perfect for families with up to four members.

Sea View Family Room (with sliding doors)

Stylish room with two bedrooms separated by blond wood-framed sliding doors with inlaid, opaque glass and breathtaking views of the Aegean sea.

Sea View Family Swim-up Room

A unique design providing the ultimate family summer getaway. Its chief feature is a deck with direct access to a shared pool. Located on the ground floor, it also offers unobstructed sea views.

This is as good as it gets. The Elite Collection gives you premium-level personalized luxury, with extra benefits and complete privacy. Sea View and On the beach Amada Villas

These two-story private villas provide the ultimate experience in luxury living. Located directly on the seafront, with immediate access to the Kallithea beach, and breathtaking sea-level views, these are designed with tooled-stone facades, and quality materials, fabrics and accoutrements to exceed every expectations.

Every villa features a private swimming pool with jacuzzi, and a spacious cut stone-paved terrace and garden.

Amenities for the Villas’ VIP guests include dedicated concierge services, free transfers, private gazebo on a reserved area of the beach, gazebo candlelit dinners, and complimentary massage, sauna and hammam (Turkish bath) sessions.

Food and Drink

The Main Restaurant offers a wide variety of premium quality international and Greek cuisine. Buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner­– indoors or al fresco- with separate adults-only and family dining areas, daily themes, show cooking areas and special dietary options.

There’s a special children’s buffet, a traditional Greek breakfast section (with yogurt, honey and local delicacies such as sesame halva) and a desserts section to die for.

There are three a la carte restaurants featuring Asian, Italian and Greek cuisine. Guests booked with the Gold package can dine at each once per week, in addition to the three meals daily available in the Main Restaurant.

The Asian Restaurant offers delicious asian fusion food with main dishes such as Thai Soup and Duck, and desserts like Macha Cake and Coconut Pudding. For vegans, try the tasty Tofu with Aubergine or the Bok Choy.

The Italian Restaurant offers dishes, inspired by the traditional meal prep of the Italian countryside. The menu includes meals cooked in a wood burning oven, premium cuts such as Black Angus rib eye, and a wonderful selection of Italian and local wines. From Bruschetta and Caprese salad to specialties such as Carpaccio di Vitello Tonnato and Caponata di Melanzana, prepare yourselves for a feast, Italian style.

The Greek Taverna offers locally inspired cuisine with a twist. Delicious dishes of fresh from the sea fish, lobster, squid and octopus, accompanied by ouzo with meze (appetizers), in a contemporary yet traditional ambience are on offer for your dining pleasure.

Bars and snacks

There are eight bars, each one with a unique style and vibe.

Greek Kafenion is an authentic coffee house which serves a variety of meze, home crafted traditional sweets and drinks, accompanied by an atmosphere of warm, friendly conversation and laughter. Experience traditional Greek coffee, a wild herb tea, or the local “firewater,” tsipouro, along with a variety of Greek delicacies.

Separate Adults-only and Family Pool Bars are there to keep the cool summer mood going for everyone. The Beach Bar offers a great variety of cold drinks and exotic cocktails on the water, favoring guests with beautiful sea vistas.

At the Healthy Pool Bar freshly squeezed juices are on offer, plus water with Mediterranean herbs and other cool drinks, as well as fresh fruit and frozen yoghurt laced with honey, nuts and fruit.

Mad for Snacks is an informal, laid-back spot where you can grab a burger, hot dog or other food to go, or loiter and indulge in a glass of ice-cold draft beer or a soft drink with your food.

The Water Park Snacks Bar offers a refreshing break from the water park’s fun in the sun, offering liquid refreshment of all kinds as well as on the go snacks such as pizza and sandwiches.

The Amphitheatre Bar allows you to indulge in cooling drinks while you enjoy the evening’s performance under Rhodes’ impressive, star-filled night sky.

The Lobby Bar is a place of cosmopolitan relaxation which offers an extensive menu of international cocktails and drinks while the live piano music provides guests with a romantic background soundtrack.

The Executive Lounge serves breakfast, snacks, cakes and drinks in a more private, sophisticated atmosphere. Access is restricted to Diamond and Elite Collection guests.

Spa and Wellness

The Amada Wellness Spa offers a wide range of therapy choices, to relax and rejuvenate with your significant other, in a tranquil, private oasis, courtesy of the thoughtfully designed Adults Zones.

The soft, indirect lighting, aqua-toned color schemes, and scented candles fill the room with rich aromas. The invigorating treatments permeate your senses and pamper your body.

The spa has a sauna, a hammam, a Jacuzzi, a beauty salon, and a team of highly-trained specialists to revive your body and make you feel at that peak of your powers you’ve desired all year long.

A fully equipped gym features state-of-the-art Star Trac equipment: treadmill, seated and standing exercise machines, Nautilus Instinct weights and exercise units, fit ball and elastics among others.

Pools and Beaches

The 140m main pool is divided into zones for swimming, ball games, and a designated area for adults only. There are dedicated swim-up bars for families and adults. There is even a Jacuzzi area within the swimming pool for that extra touch of luxury.

The exclusive 430km golden sand beach is the ideal setting to enjoy the Mediterranean sun, while building sandcastles, lounging in the shade of a private gazebo or staying fit with a range of water sports from waterskiing and paragliding to pedal boating and stand-up paddleboarding. Water Park

Hours and hours of fun await you in the water park, where older kids (including mom and dad!) enjoy an adrenaline rush on awesome slides such as the Black Hole, the Body Slide and Freefall.

The little ones will love the Aquatower’s tipping bucket and slides and the Mini Octopus. Toddlers get their very own fun-filled Spray Action Zone. With covered lounging areas, sunbathing facilities and a dedicated snack bar, you can spend the whole day here.

Fun for Kids

From three organized kids’ clubs to a nightly program of shows and performances in a 400-seat amphitheatre, there’s fun for everyone.

Kids can take part in pirate escapades, treasure hunts and so much more, or perhaps play table tennis or go bowling. There’s a Small Fingerprints cookery program aimed at 4-15-year-olds, where the Sous Chefs introduce proper nutrition in a fun and playful way. Or the Creative Nature Club, the kids can make their own aprons with recyclable materials.

The evening entertainment starts with a movie before the amphitheatre springs to life with mini discos, variety shows, comedy shows, and karaoke and quiz nights.

In the Area

The region in the area of the resort offers various activities such as amusement parks and entertainment venues, and it is a great base from which you can explore some of the island’s most popular attractions such as Kallithea Springs (3km), Anthony Quinn Bay (12-min drive), the Old Medieval Stronghold of Rhodes (10km), the Butterfly Valley (30-min drive), or the Ancient Lindos village (40-min drive).
