Just three km northeast of Zakynthos town near the village of Akrotiri, Zakynthos, five- star Lesante Cape Resort and Villas is a new resort built in the same area as some of the most magnificent Italian-era villas on the northeast coast, with a view towards mainland Greece, and neighboring Kefalonia, during the era of Venetian rule from about 1500 to about 1800.

The resort is configured to mimic the organic structure of a typical Greek village which means there is a central plaza or square. However, no one will mistake the resort for a village in that there it has a lot of swimming pools, and excellent spa, and its own beach. It has a café and a tavern, some small shops in its perimeter, and even a church, and a folklore museum. Deluxe Suites

The Deluxe Suites are bathed in light, illuminating the semi-rustic furnishings, many of which are made from island materials. Room flow directs your attention outward from the bedroom, into the living area, opening up to the spacious veranda which overlooks the plaza.

Honeymoon Suite Sea View with Outdoor Hot Tub

Signature Suites with Private Pool

These spacious suites offer views of water either way you look at it- the Garden View Suites look onto the sparking blue of your private swimming pool as well as the bougainvillea-decked rooftops and gardens of its exterior views. Once again we see the harmony of traditional Ionian architectural elements and furnishings with amenities of the 21^st century.

Family Suite Sea View with Private Pool

There are 140m² to roam around in this suite. Enjoy family play time in the two 20m² pools. This is a two-suite configuration with a connecting door, two bathrooms with bath tubs, and a private terrace with two swimming pools. This is the ideal place for a fun-filled family getaway.

Sea View Villas with Private Pool

These suites fall into four “size” categories: One-bedroom (3 guests), Premium One-bedroom (3 guests), Two-bedroom (5 guests), and Three-bedroom (7 guests) villas.

Villas feature open plan country-style villas blending traditional design, and resemble the traditional aristocratic Venetian past of Zakynthos, but with modern amenities and accoutrements old-style Zakynthians of centuries past could only dream about. Vilas are architected to resemble Zakynthian summer homes and make abundant use of natural fieldstone, pre-shrunk sapwood paneling (lighter in color than heartwood) room dividers, king-sized beds, jetted bath tubs, large living rooms with walk-in closets, full kitchen, a large terrace with outdoor dining area and a Jacuzzi, and wonderful, panoramic views of the lovely Ionian Sea.

Cape Villa

This villa mimics, with a modern twist, an old Italian-style Zakynthian country manor, with statuary in wall niches, an elegant square, deep marble sink in the kitchen for meal prep, beaten gold plumbing fixtures, cobblestone exteriors, elegant archway combinations and slotted wooden awnings.

Up to 7 people can take advantage of this villas 400 m², with plenty of space for privacy for those in the group needing a little “me” time. There’s an outdoor dining area for evening dinner parties, a furnished sun terrace, a luxurious garden and a 200m² swimming pool.

Tucked away in the lobby of Lesante Cape, The Noble Lounge Bar is the hotel’s welcoming bar and lounge, open from early in the morning until late at night. With its beige tiles, light brown marble bar and rust-colored fieldstone walls and glass balcony railings on the exterior, and its magnificent floor to ceiling divided windows, the focus is on the natural and organic in its décor.

The three beautifully tiered infinity pools of Lesante Cape offer magnificent, sweeping views of the Ionian Sea, Kefalonia island and the Greek mainland. In the Area

Lesante Cape has an ideal location - a peaceful countryside, but just 2km from the Tsilivi village and 5km from Zakynthos town center. Tsilivi offers a wide range of fun activities: amusement parks, mini golf, bowling, bars and restaurants. The famous Tsilivi beach is 3km long, with a beautiful small port, plenty of beach bars, and shallow waters ideal for children.

Zakynthos town, the island’s capital, features its large port, several museums and lots of dining options. The Bochali district, on top of the hill above Zakynthos town, features the Venetian fortress built around 1480, and is a popular spot for excursions, with bars and cafes abuzz with people relaxing and taking in the stunning views of the city, especially at night. About 2km from the city lies Lofos Strani, a beautiful hill famous for the fact that on this hill Dionysios Solomos, one of Greece’s greatest modern poets and a native Zakynthian, got the inspiration to write the Greek national anthem.
